The Durant’s Neck Ruritans Club holds a semi-annual auction and asks the community for auction item donations. The proceeds from the auction go back in to the community through donations to various different programs supporting seniors, children and veterans.
Most importantly, we are able to fund our college scholarship program with the proceeds from the auction. This not only contributes to the enrichment of the student’s lives, it contributes to the enrichment of our community as these students have roots in our community and will be more prepared to be contributing members as they advance in their knowledge and skill level.
